Marie is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) and a Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist (CFDS), and has been working in the Financial Services industry since 2000. Since commencing DeLauretis Wealth Management Inc. in 2006, she has helped individuals, families, and business owners implement strategies to achieve their financial goals in the accumulation, growth, preservation, & transition of personal wealth.
Ms. DeLauretis has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and the CFP® designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council. Due to her dedication to helping hardworking individuals preserve their wealth, especially during times of divorce, Ms. DeLauretis pursued and successfully achieved the designation of Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist from the Academy of Financial Divorce Specialists. In addition, she has satisfied the educational requirements to be a registered Mutual Fund Representative, an insurance agent for Life and Health Insurance products and is certified in cash flow and debt management planning.
Marie’s most recent designation, the RIS, confirms her practical knowledge of Canada’s responsible investment marketplace as well the knowledge needed to discuss ESG issues with Canadian retail clients. Marie is a current member of the Responsible Investment Association.
Ms. DeLauretis is a registered Mutual Fund Representative of Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc. and offers mutual funds through Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc., within the provinces of Alberta and Ontario, and offers wealth management advisory services through DeLauretis Wealth Management Inc. Ms. DeLauretis is also an Insurance for Life, Disability and Critical Illness agent. Throughout her financial career, Ms. DeLauretis has always maintained a high standard of ethics, integrity, and conducts her practice by placing client interests first.
Ms. DeLauretis is a proud member of the Academy of Financial Divorce Specialists, Financial Planner Standard Council (FPSC) and acts as a volunteer on various initiatives.
